Don’t Forget – You Could Win!

Don’t miss out – you could win a signed copy of the children’s book Charli’s Choices!

There are two signed copies of the children’s book Charli’s Choices to give away which were very kindly donated (and written!) by Marian B. Moldan, LCSW-R – director and founder of Childhood Anxiety Solutions.

Charli’s Choices is a children’s book which suggests ways of making speech easier for children with selective mutism by asking choice questions.

The book is illustrated by Toby Allen, who also has an illustration project called Real Monsters which includes the selective mutism monster.

To win one of the signed copies of Charli’s Choices, all you need to do is email Rosie contact@findingourvoices.co.uk or comment on this post with your name and how you would help someone with SM. This competition is closing on December 10th so please send your entry soon to be in with a chance!

Charli's Choices

Good luck everyone.

Hello my name is Suzanne , I would help someone with selective mutism by speaking to them about their interest via cards then after that i would develop a trustworthy relationship by going places of what interest them, and hopefully by our consistent long term relationship we would hopefully exchange a few words which will progress into a long term conversation ending with us being best friends forever.

"I recommend you for your hard work in 'spreading the word' about SM. I am encouraged by the rise of interest in the condition over the 21 years of SMIRA's existence, which, I am sure, is due, in no small part, to the efforts of the organisation in raising the profile of this disorder. The more ways that people can learn about it, the better."
